Wipe excess on newspaper or cardboard.
Swirl in a jar of odorless mineral spirits until paint releases.
Repeat in a second clean jar of spirits.
Shape & dry: Squeeze out solvent with a rag, comb bristles straight, hang to air-dry.
Soak bristles (only) in lacquer thinner or brush cleaner for 30–60 mins.
Work paint out with a brass wire brush.
Rinse twice in clean mineral spirits.
Final wipe with brush conditioner (linseed oil blend) to restore flexibility.
